BiblioBoard is an electronic media delivery platform for libraries built on the idea that libraries can provide a user experience that is as simple and engaging as any commercial product.
The collection of media available through BiblioBoard currently includes thousands of works from over 450 publishers. It includes a wide range of titles including classic literature, comic books, K-12 focused non-fiction, how-to books, and much more.
It is also a compelling platform for self-published authors and it allows libraries to highlight work by local or regional authors.
Because browsing is an important part of the discovery experience, BiblioBoard provides a couple of browsing options: “Modules” and “Categories”.
“Modules” are broad collections of works that come from a common source or address a common theme. When you browse through a module, you’ll find content organized into subgroups called anthologies and collections. You’ll find individual titles as you dive into anthologies and collections.
“Categories” organize the available titles into broad topical collections. You’ll find individual titles as soon as you select a category.
For any individual title in Biblioboard, you can simply click “Read This” to immediately begin reading. There is no need to check out titles, place holds, or wait for availability in any way.
